Our History
With over 40 years of experience, DK9S Canine Rehabilitation and Custom Training has been a beacon of hope for countless dogs in need. Our journey began when founder Angie Taylor's passion for rescuing dogs ignited after her father brought home 8 Dalmatian puppies destined for euthanasia. Angie's first rescue marked the humble beginnings of her mission to rehabilitate and rehome abandoned dogs.
Our Story
Driven by a deep-rooted love for animals and a desire to make a difference, Angie embarked on a journey to rehabilitate dogs facing lack of understanding neglect and abandonment.
Despite not being a rescue service, Angie tirelessly works to provide these dogs with a second chance at life. Through her unwavering dedication and compassion, she has transformed the lives of countless families and their furry companions through rehabilitation and in some cases helping find more suitable loving forever homes.
Our Team
At DK9S Canine Rehabilitation and Custom Training, we believe in the power of collaboration and knowledge sharing. While Angie leads the charge in canine rehabilitation and training, she also opens her doors to aspiring dog trainers through our internship program. Under Angie's mentorship, interns receive hands-on training and guidance, gaining valuable experience without the burden of financial compensation.
As we continue to grow, Angie envisions expanding the DK9S Canine Rehabilitation and Custom Training team to include dedicated trainers committed to upholding our mission of compassion and excellence.
